Mr. MARIO SCARZELLA (ITA) - PRESIDENT - term: 2010/2014
He was born in Azzano d’Asti on 24 May 1946 and lives in Torino.
He was elected EMAU Council Member in 2002 during the Congress held in Ankara (Turkey), and on 13 March 2006 in Jaen (Spain) he has been elected EMAU President. He has been re-confirmed as WAE President (EMAU changed the name in World Archery Europe – WAE since 2012) in the Congress in 2010 in Rovereto (Italy).
He is the President of the Italian Archery Federation (FITARCO) since 2001.
He was elected FITA member in 2005 and during the Congress held in Torino (ITA) in 2011 he has been elected 1st Vice President of the World Archery (WA), the new name of the International Federation (FITA).

Mr. KLAUS LINDAU (GER) - FIRST VICE PRESIDENT - term: 2010/2014
He is Chairman of the Archery Division of the German Shooting Federation (Deutscher Schuetzenbund). In 2003, he was elected as FITA Council Member during the Congress held in New York, and his term finished in 2011.
He was Vice President of EMAU from 1996 to 2005 when he was appointed as Acting President of the Union until the Elective Congress held in March 2006 in Spain.
During this Congress he has been re-elected Vice-President of EMAU, and also named by EMAU Council Judges Committee Liaison Officer.
During the 2010 Congress held in Rovereto (ITA) he has been re-elected Vice President of EMAU (WAE since 2012).

Mr. VLADIMIR ESHEEV (RUS) - VICE PRESIDENT - term: 2012/2016
He is one of the greatest archers of all times. Since 1997 he is the President of the Russian Archery Federation. He has been elected as Vice President of EMAU (WAE since 2012) in 2000. He has been re-elected in 2004, 2008 and in 2012 during the Congress in Amsterdam.
He is a member of the WA Executive Board since 2005.

Mr. PHILIPPE BOUCLET (FRA) - COUNCIL MEMBER - term: 2010/2014
He is an active archer and has been affiliated to the FFTA (French Archery Federation) since 1974. He is President of the Fédération Française de Tir à l’Arc (FFTA) and WA Vice President. During the Elective Congress held in Spain in March 2006 he has been elected EMAU (WAE since 2012) Council member. During the 2010 Congress held in Rovereto (ITA) he has been re-elected EMAU Executive Board Member.

Mrs. TRUDY MEDWED (AUT) - COUNCIL MEMBER - term: 2012/2016
She is the President of the Austrian Archery Federation (OEBSV). She is a member of the WA Executive Board. She was elected Council Member of EMAU (WAE since 2012) in 1996 during the Congress held in Belgium, and she filled a position in EMAU Council with a special commission in respect of Development and Technical Assistance until 2008. She has been re-elected EMAU Council Member during the Elective Congress held in Spain in March 2006. During the Congress 2008, held in France, she has been elected member of 3D & Field Committee, and she was appointed Chairman by the Council. She was re-elected WAE Executive Board member during the Congress in 2010 and during the Congress 2012 in Amsterdam.

Mr. THIERRY ZINTZ (BEL) - COUNCIL MEMBER - term: 2012/2016
During the Elective Congress held in Vittel, France, in 2008 he has been elected EMAU (WAE since 2012) Council Member. He was WA adhoc Youth Committee Chairman and WA adhoc Youth Olympic Games Project Coordinator. During the 2012 Congress in Amsterdam was re-elected WAE Executive Board Member.

Mr. FRANÇOIS DE MASSARY (FRA) - EMAU Honorary President
He was born on 8 January 1929 and died on 16 March 2012.
He dedicated fifty years of his life to the archery.
He founded EMAU on 17 April 1988 and was the first President until 1992, later on he was named Honorary President of EMAU. He was also FITA Vice President and was honoured with a Gold Plaquette. He was President of the French Archery Federation from 1972 to 2000.

Prof. Dr. UGUR ERDENER (TUR) - EMAU Honorary President
He was elected Vice-President of EMAU in 1996 during the Congress of Mol.
During the Congress in Poland in 2000 he was elected President of EMAU and was re-elected in Sassari, Italy in 2004. He was the President of the Turkish Archery Federation until 2006. During the FITA Congress in June 2005 in Madrid Dr. Erdener was elected as FITA President and after the EMAU Council meeting on 24 June 2005 he left his position in EMAU.
He is nowadays Honorary President of EMAU.
